Pain sharing agreements are where two or more people agree that one party will accept the pain of the other person. Pain sharing agreements possess the power to automatically transfer pain from one person to another, regardless of where they are. The agreements can be opted out of at any time and can have specific conditions (e.g. that it only applies to certain types of pain, or only at certain times).

Universal Basic Income (UBI) is an economic model whereby all citizens of a country would be allocated a regular income by the government. The idea has been trialed in Finland and is supported by some political figures such as Andrew Yang.
